COMAR-2700: Community Arts Workshop
Course Description
Community Practice Workshops are designed to introduce students to special topics in community and socially engaged practice. These courses have an emphasis on project learning, sustainability or global perspectives. There are readings, research, or supplemental activities that help students contextualize their interests in community, working in public space and production within broad Craft dialogues. Students from all majors in the fine arts, design, and architecture, with no previous experience in Community Arts, are invited to take these courses.
