COMIC-6280: Underrepresented Voices in Comics Seminar
Course Description
Students will explore, analyze, and study the social, political, and economic contexts of cultural production and artistic expressions in comics. Additionally, this course will provide a rigorous and disciplined examination of the past and present experiences of historically oppressed and underrepresented racial/ethic groups in both the pages of comics as well as in the comics publishing industry.
