Course Description
This class will teach a variety of topics necessary to successfully implement a wide range of interactive digital electronics projects. Elementary concepts of discrete electronics, transistors and integrated circuits will be covered, as well as means for realizing those in functional hardware. Microcontroller basics will also be covered, using the Arduino platform, as well as wired and wireless means of connecting said projects to other systems (e.g., Processing). The skills acquired in this class will be developed through in-class assignments, fixed-end making exercises, and open-ended design projects.
